Tucson HAM license testing: Oct. 4, 2007

Done. I'm a HAM. I missed one question. But I'm almost official, now for my name to show up in the govt database .... oh, wait, that sounds bad. One less thing to worry about before Wednesday ...

I'll bring the book with me to the Trophy for whomever would like it next (although I never looked at it - qrz.com has the tests, and my study guide was a podcast I found on iTunes)

There should be two more reports coming in as well ....

Ham here, too!

35/35 = 100% score:arabia:

Whew, I sure don't miss all the studying! Still dreaming ohms and CQs and QSYs . . .

I highly recommend Hamtestonline.com for those with very little time. I subscribed, ran through the whole course last weekend (took about 8 hours total), then started with doing practice tests each evening til the exam. Worked great for me (the test remembers what you get wrong and can be set to test harder on those areas).

Roseann, I think you need a really cool vanity call sign---something that sounds like a cheetah purring :)

CONGRATULATIONS you HAM you :wings:

Congratulations and welcome to the club!

Still waiting to hear from the last hampion of the trio ...

COOL!

Hope to see you all participating in the Expo Ham Radio Net!

hmmmmmmm

...perhaps we can get a tag team Guest Speaker outta the newbie's!

:wings:

congrats to Jeff and the Hanson's! maybe we can get a seasoned ham to give all of us newbies a little 2M inservice at the trophy event

Great idea . . . I feel like I know more about how to deal with my neighbor's television interference than how to operate my radio
