Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking I could replace the eyebolts also. I'm also wondering about the whole bedliner thing. I don't see why I would even need to cut out the notches and instead just drill holes to access the holes in the bed. Any thoughts? BTW, do the holes in the bed have welded on nuts?

Yes, the bed has welded nuts for the factory tracks. They're threaded M6x1.00.

If the drop in bedliner sits flush to the bed side where the threaded holes are, I'd say you're OK bolting through it. I suspect the bedliner has some raised sections that won't let the track sit flat.

I've just looked at the link at Recrac that I posted above and they now have some new pics. Pic 1 shows the attachment "nut" and pics 2 and 4 show what appears to be L track. Can someone confirm that I'm correct. BTW, here's the link again. Click on the pics to enlarge them. If this is L track then I'm set.

It says right in their ad copy that its for the toyota rail system, looks different from L-track.

Again, I'm sure you could adapt it.

Thanks. On a closer look the openings in the track are further apart but I think I can make it work. I'll report back when I get this all together.
