Gentlemen,
I penned an article on preparing a (1st generation) Toyota Tundra for an expedition covering only the basics. It might not be of much use to ya'll, but I thought I would thank you, as much of the info was siphoned from ExPo. I also thought it would be good to have it in the searchable archives.
Toyota Tundra Expedition Prep
There is some useful bits for those selecting a Tundra which steer the reader toward a 2003 and later model due to some changes at the factory. It also goes into the timeless Taco v Tundra debate. Of course we're biased, but there's some good info from the Tundra camp anyway.
I plan on going into more detail about our experiences so far with the Tundra in the next article. We'll get to it's handling with the truck camper, MPG and all of that good stuff.
