Turtle III on Ebay!

Wow, it is quite a bit cheaper now than it was when listed on here some time ago. I was going to put stickers all over my truck and drive the snot out of it then try to sell it for quadruple of what it was really worth. Guess I won't now.

Tried real hard to find the old ad on here, but couldn't. Anyone remember what it was selling for? $120,000?, $74,000?, $40,000?.. the price now on ebay is at least more in line with what it's worth.

Hmmm, it has 'costume' guages, and a 'Warren' winch. Must be some type of special gear:sombrero:

I'm sorry, but I see a 24 year old truck with a camper.

A well put together rig, yes.

But I wouldn't drop more than $10K on it, max.

The listing expired without an offer.

Regarding the vehicle condition, Gary Wescott is a demon when it comes to vehicle preparation and maintenance. I'm guessing, but I think the vehicle would be in top notch shape.

I see that the vehicle's location is listed as Wickenburg, AZ. The Wescotts used to live near Grass Valley CA. Does this mean they moved? Or sold the vehicle to another party living in AZ? Anyone have information?

According to the Turtle Expedition page here the Turtle III was sold in 1997 (for $34,890).

If it still has the brand new motor from '97 why has it been setting?
Location Kingman?
Contact Phone number - Pennsylvania
Lister has other auctions vehicle is located - Colorado

Thats ridiculous it is still an 87 truck with a 94 motor. it still has a huge amount of milage on it... " We added a Banks turbo and basically never touched the engine for the next 160,000 miles" and that was 20 years ago...

A great truck with a lot of nice features :sombrero:

Too much for me to consider but hopefully someone ends up with it that can put it to use and appreciate it.

That guy selling it has TONS of stuff for sale all over the internet! I smell reseller. Everything from Real Estate, RVs, old cars, to bookshelves. Google his phone number. Stuff is listed from Arizona, California, Pennsylvania, etc.
