Just starting my build for my 2013 Mistsi Fuso 6c18 4x4 (quite a rare truck in the UK)

Struggling to find any information on any dual alternator setups for this truck

Has anyone installed a dual alternator system ? Did it come with brackets / pulleys / belts etc. Can you receommend any suppliers / manufactrers ?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

I haven't seen one of these systems in the flesh, but I listened to someone who had one of these systems in their vehicle, which was a food vendor running freezers inside the food van. He was very impressed with his super fast charging system, which if memory serves me, was supplying power to a 48V battery bank.

This isn't a freezer situation, more like a 24/7 roof mounted air conditioner in a Mercedes Sprinter van.

I don't know if your 3.0L engine has similar mounts to the former 4.9L engine, but on the 4.9L engine it is relatively simple to mount a second alternator.
I have not done that, but have instead used those mounts to install an engine driven air compressor.
There may not be a specific "mounting kit" for a second alternator, but any decent fabricator could manufacture the required mounting brackets. You could then use something like the Balmar 48V alternator to charge your house batteries.
