Two (2) Honda CRF150F motorcycles

Street legal – licensed and titled

Two low-hour Honda CRF150F motorcycles fully prepped for dual sport use.

These bikes were prepped by Baja 1000 solo ironman champion Jimmy Sones for use with our overland expedition vehicle. These bikes accompanied us around the western U.S.A. and South America. They have been in storage since early 2009.

They are the perfect size for run-around and exploration motorcycles. They are both street legal, so can be ridden on and off road.

Both were purchased new at the same time. One is a 2006 and the other is a 2007. They are mechanically identical.

These bikes are both electric start, low and light, so they are excellent for use as a couple.

These bikes are easy to load and unload, easy to pick up and very easy to ride.

Plus, they only weigh 223 lb / 101 kg (dry) so you can put both of these bikes onto your truck for the weight of one big motorcycle.

Features:
  • Electric start
  • Pro taper aluminum handlebars
  • Baja Designs lighting & horn kit
  • Billet aluminum cargo rack
  • Wide footpegs
  • Handlebar brush guards
  • Pre-wired for included trickle charger
  • RAM Garmin 60CSx mount pre-wired for GPS power
  • Folding mirror
  • Fender kit including spare tube, wrenches and tire irons
  • Front number plate pack

Price:
Both bikes: $3,300
Purchased separately:
  • 2007: $1,800
  • 2006: $1,700

Known issues / problems:
  • The 2006 has a small tear in the headlight mount plastic
  • Both bikes will need new batteries

Tony,

Thanks for your interest in the bikes.

They were kept on trickle chargers.

The chargers come with the bikes.

The bikes are pre-wired for the chargers with a quick disconnect.

I have two new batteries inbound and will install those when they come in.

I also plan to change the oil prior to sale.

It looks like the tags are from Colorado - any chance you'll be up in this area any time soon? Has the suspension ever been rebuilt? Thanks.

Maybe, but if we are it will probably be on the GS.

No. There was no need to do so.

My bike has probably got <200 hours on it.

Steph's has <100 hours.

They are so lightly used that we didn't get anywhere near wearing out any suspension components.

We used them as get-around bikes so were not looking for ultimate suspension performance. Consequently, we didn't put any aftermarket suspension components on them.

Sorry, no, they are sold.

I forgot about this duplicate thread in this section.

Apologies for not updating it at the time of the sale.
