Sold on Craigslist. Buyer bought to swap in a 5.3 ls.
2003 Land Rover Discovery SE 141k Miles
May be an excellent TDI swap Candidate
Bonatti Grey with Alpaca Beige
Cold weather package including heated windshield and heated seats.
Excellent condition. Interior and exterior show little wear and no tear. 18" wheels and Tires are in excellent shape. Vehicle is un modified. Headlights are newer and crystal clear. NO RUST.
Garaged all its life.
Has all new coolant hoses, factory 180* thermostat, new battery, brakes, Power steering pump, Waterpump less than a year ago. Does not show age or miles. Never wrecked. No bodywork. No known or evident paint work.
Needs at the least head gaskets. My best guess is it also has a bad lifter or slipped liner as it intermittently ticks. You might get lucky and swap lifters when doing the headgaskets and not need to swap the motor. I drove it ticking for almost 30k miles. Sale will include head gasket parts set and an unknown good engine block. Truck will start and run but would advise not driving it far as it will overheat and start misfiring cyl5 . Front bumper plastic has a minor crack.
Clean/clear title in hand. I am the second owner. Pics will be updated as the weather clears.
$2800 It includes the parts and a spare engine block.
I will get better pics when it isn't snowing/raining/freezing out...
