Tyre pressure/temp monitors

Sorry for all the questions guys ..... that is the penalty for living in gear heaven :bowdown:

These tyre pressure/temp monitors .....having lost a few BF MT's to slow leaks off-road, do they work? Asking as a 265/75x16 BF MT comes in at a cool US$ 250 here in South Africa.

Even saving just one tyre in 4 years will pay the unit easily.

Are you considering one of the units with in-cab monitors? I do like that idea, and have considered it myself. I guess my final decision is based on the fact that I have never had an on-road flat with my BFG tires.

In addition, I also have a pre-trip inspection that I complete and a daily routine while traveling to check for low tires, etc.
