I bought these 2003 Ford E-Series Workshop Manuals for my van;

I'm thinking of getting the service manuals for the donor axles, which came from F-250 trucks.
(Dana 50 front, Sterling 10.5 rear)

I guess if I find a '99-'04 manual for F-250 I'm good?

(I have more motorcycle repair background than truck, and I always like to have all the right manuals before digging in.

When I had a 1979 Ford E-100 (manual transmisssion) van there was Chilton manuals. Has Chilton gone completely digital?).

Those factory manuals are great! I especially like the wiring diagram manuals. They are very detailed.

I've paid much less than that for E-series manuals. F-series stuff is a little more expensive but if you're patient you can score a full set for under $50.

Thanks, picked up the F-250 manuals.

First day driving the van around, and already someone asked me about it.

Chris, you might have to send me a small stack of your business cards to hand out. ;p)

The girlfriend called it fun after I gave her a quick ride around the block. And she actually prefers the camouflage scheme to the white paint I'm thinking of giving it.
Well, i guess it's not going to be incognito, no matter what else i do to it, but I still want to go with white for practical reasons (summer heat).

While googling, I came across the $50 Rustoleum car painting method which might be suitable, considering it has a couple of dents.

The ride is real nice, can't wait to clean it up and get it ready for some adventures!
