This is the ultimate truck for surviving the Apocalypse, hunting zombies, chasing your Baja 1000 trophy truck, or just showing the hummers in line at Starbucks exactly who the Boss is! 2004 Chevy 2500HD 6.6 liter Duramax turbo diesel 325hp 615ft/lbs of torque, Allison transmission, 139k miles.

The truck has a 6” RCD suspension lift, 4.10 gear ratio and currently has Hutchinson forged aluminum double beadlock wheels with new 315/75/16 BFG All-Terrains. The Hutchinson wheels came from the factory from GM on the extended mobility 2500HD platform, they are hub centric, the correct offset, and ride fantastic, plus you can mount and dismount them on the trail or in your garage. With some practice, you can get tire changes done quickly in case the zombies or the feds are hot on your trail.

This truck is a long box, and all of your survival gear can be locked and secure under the aluminum A.R.E. utility shell, the flip up side doors make for easy access and also make great impromptu awnings for when the monsoon hits. Extra storage is added by the Vanguard cap rack system that exo-skeletons the shell, which would make a good platform for an additional roof rack, forward observatory, or just a great vantage point for sniping off the foot-shuffling undead. A separate over-cab roof rack is there also for carrying the essentials that you want within arms reach above you, with practice, you can tell the co-pilot to just “grab the wheel” while you climb out the window to fish out that Allman Brothers CD you left in your duffle bag. If you accidentally drop the CD, you’re still ok, as the truck has built in XM satellite radio, and you can just tune to channel 56 Jams for the best in live music. By some stroke of luck, the previous owner I got the truck from two years ago is still renewing the XM subscription so it is included with the sale also.

The front of the truck means business; your eyes immediately feast on the “I Take No Crap” ARB Bull Bar, which hides in plain view a Warn M15000 winch. A pair of 8” Sol-Tek pencil beams blinds the zombies while you decide if you are going to swerve to avoid, or take them head on.

To keep the public guessing, the windows have been nicely tinted to compliment the “do I really want to know which agency drives this” style, and the interior leather is been fully broken in for maximum comfort. If your personal dimensions are about 6’3” and 250, then the seat is probably perfectly positioned and the lower cushion shaped in the correct buttoxial-contour for your specific frame.

The truck has been regularly maintained; since I’ve owned it I’ve done belts, tensioner, idler pulleys, front hub bearings, all u-joints, driveshaft carrier bearing, pitman arm, alignments, fuel filters, synthetic Rotella T oil changes, dual gel-cell Optima type batteries, and all the custom mods currently on the truck.

It does have a few things that you may decide to attend to such as an intermittent abs light, some rips in the leather of the drivers seat, some paint peel on the dash board, some scratches and desert pin striping on the external, a dent in the back bumper etc, nothing too major for a truck like this that gets used for it’s intended purpose. I pulled a tree out with the winch on New Years and think I might have cooked one of the solenoids so you would want to get that fixed also sometime before Skynet gets switched on.

I recently bought another house and shortened my daily commute to a mile each way, and now this is just way too much truck for my current needs. As the truck is right now, I’ll list it for $19,900 but I can take parts off it to bring the price down, lowest I could get down to would be about 18k though. If you need to finance, the truck in stock form still books well above 20k so you shouldn’t have any difficulty getting a loan, as long as you haven’t foreclosed on anything recently. The truck is in Avondale, AZ, if you would like more information feel free to email me at: oldcentercaps@cox.net When buying this truck you will need to prepare for lots of questions about what you do, where you go, and what it is used for; people just know you are adventurous when you drive it. The story is up to you..,

4-1-10 price lowered $17,500 as is.

Clearly must happened when he was out huntin' zombies...And pullin' a tree with winch was probably so he could make a bunch of wooden stakes for killin' vampires...Truck's got some pretty cool history to it. :costumed-smiley-007:

No question that truck is fully capable. Way too big for my liking...but it's mean machine. If it was a shortbed, it would be tempting. Wait a second, I would have to get it past the wife and she would kill that idea. :ylsmoke:

Haven's summary is much more ... boring though.

Does the rig incude any firearms or other defensive measures to thwart the zombies?
