I love his explanation and thought process. Brings back memories when we build the first Maximog for him.

I watched the video all the way through. Personally I think that thing is ridiculous and he's ridiculous. He speaks as though you can't travel this world safely in anything less. It's kind of silly the idea that he's building it with his daughter in mind. I grew up camping with my family and grand parents in the back country like a lot of people have for generations. Camping in a tent, sleeping on the ground, eating canned beans, playing in the dirt. Yeah sure, that monstrosity is EXACTLY what your daughter needs.

To each his own.

While he makes some good points...I can envision him kind of hunched with a rubik's cube trying to solve the problem of how to expedition correctly.........You don't need that kind of money to go see the world....I'm pretty sure my F250 could get most of the places he has shown.....albeit you're not going to have your walk up bedroom when you get there unless you count the RTT

Edit: A fool and his money.....seriously at 24:20 he's got an MBITR with a 20W AMP on his motorcycle......

We all know that one guy who's brilliant, but for some reason common sense totally eludes him.

What gets me is that as he lists off his requirements he talks about simplicity, and then creates this custom monstrosity with a ton of one-off parts and specialized equipment.
