Upgrading a 02 Sequoia SR5 4x4 for Expedition Travel

Wow! Those Sequoias look sweet! What is the best suspension upgrade for a Sequoia? I want to improve my Seq 4x4 offroad performance and perhaps install a taller tire than stock tires.

Based off of the research I have done, most sequoia owners are going with the revtek spacers.

I think I would either go with a donahoe or swayaway coilovers in the front and a a custom spring in the rear. I might go with a spacer in the rear though. Depends on how it stuffed. You can fit a 32 inch tire with no lift. Or a 33 inch tire with a 2 inch lift. Watch your backspacing if you go go with a wider tire as they will rub on the upper A arms.

There were a few guys that put big lifts on them. Supposedly any late model tundra lift will work on the front of the sequoia, but I can't vouch for that personally. There is ony guy who installed an RCD lift on the front.

Yeah! another black (and paid for) Toyota! We're catching up to the white ones! This will be a great build platform, just try to avoid very narrow trails, trees love your mirrors and fender flares.

Ooohh, I would like to see Demello do a complete Sequoia. Those guys produce some amazing stuff... Weird thing is I have been telling my wife that it's weird, not too many people are lifting them... Make it happen guys.

I just bought an 03 Sequoia this weekend, already looking for "upgrades". I thought it was time to be the Sequoias back to the front page. I love this truck just crawled around underneath it today and it seems plenty stout for some moderate excursions. If there are any more photos of outfitted ones I would love to see them!

Though I drive a Nissan, I absolutely love the Toyota Sequoia. I am very interested in the build up of these. It may just sway me to the "tree" side.
