Upgrading suspension

I have a 2000 Tacoma extended cab, 2.4l. Does anyone have a recommendation for front coil springs. I'm looking at OME coils and there are some options:

881 coils - stock front weight- uses top plate spacers

883 coils for an additional 100LBS front weight (can also be used for 3" lift without top plate spacers with no additional weight) MD

882 coils for over 150+ LBS additional front weight HD

Would the 882 heavy duty be too stiff? I'll be adding a winch with bumber to the front eventually. Let me know.
Thanks,
John

I run the 882 in the front of my 2000 Taco but I have the V-6 3.4 and manual trany. I find the ride to my liking firm but smooth. That being said I am addeding 3/8" plates for a 1/2" extra lift this weekend. I installed the OME 882 last summer and they have started to sag a little. I first had fab tech (FOX) adjustable coil overs and did not like them as much as the OME. If you do realy plan on the winch and bumper I would go for the 882 and deal with a harsher ride and use that to motovate your winch/bumper purchase. I am also adding a second add-a-leaf to my rear spring pack. Since I built my sleep platform and loaded my recovery gear the rear started to sag.

883s are stiffer than the 882. 882s and 881s are the same spring rate but the 882s are taller. You just need to decide how much lift you want. OME is the right choice in my opinion.
