I've spent the last couple of weeks primarily on Grand Island in Munising Bay. We don't get winter access for two long, especially when warm spells come though; we can lose the ice over night in the channel.
I had the opportunity to take two of
Pure Michigan's Travel Writers out to the island for assignments in the U.P. We had a great day for the ride, completing a full circle of the island on 2-10-11 (on the island, not the ice).
