Usa 8x8

Saw this camper on a Cummins swap forum. I'm hoping the owner is a member here. I'd love to see some interior pictures.

"A Work-in-progress expedition camper built from a Stewart & Stevenson Esarco SS-300 , 8 wheel drive chassis with a 12V BT, Eaton 5 speed trans, dual transfer cases, 4 Dana 60 high pinion axles, front and rear steering. Converted cab to an Isuzu medium duty (FTR, etc.) and added locking hubs on front and rear axles, 39.5" Super Swamper IROC tires, and a myriad of other changes."

thats pretty neat. Although IROCS would not be my first tire choice for an overlanding rig like this.

Yup, it sure is. Thanks. Except I got it wrong it's called USA 6X6.

USA 6x6 is hopefully not operating as a business any more.
If they are, or the owner "David" is out there operating another business stay away, FAR FAR away...

Thanks for the info. I didn't realize USA 6 X 6 was the name of a company that used to sell parts. I thought it was the name of this rig but that is actually called Octamog as stated before. I did a Google search on USA 6X6 and man did that guy pissed a lot of people off.

The name I associate with them is "Daniel"... I guess he was two faced enough for both names ;)

Actually, you're right on the name. I got the Da part right... lol
The point is he is SUPER shady.
Pissed off customers, pissed off suppliers, pissed off co-workers. Pretty much pissed off anyone and everyone in te 4x4 world that dealt with him.

Stay far, far away from anything dealing with USA 6X6! Part of their epic failure is the TIV2 on Discovery Channel's Storm Chasers. Wheels falling off, axles breaking, inability to fix stuff on time.....

Expo had a thread on this last year.

Bottom line, always do internet research on any company before buying from or into them. I learned this lesson the hard way with bumper mfg company. Do research!
