USB Backup Camera ??

dzzz

That's all I can find.

The carputer software I've looked at works with USB cameras only. But I don't see any usb backup cameras.

I don't know what a USB backup camera is. But my Waeco backup camera hooked up to my GPS works very nicely. Be sure you get one with an automatically deploying cover to keep dust/dirt off the lens.
It was sort of an afterthought but I'm very very glad I have it.

Ask Lance Blair what he has done.
All of the cameras on the WAVE can be viewed on the little netbook he uses for navigation.

You can get a "USB Video Capture" device and connect a wide-angle (110 to 170 degrees) backup camera via composite or S-Video.

You could use a USB webcam but you'll probably have to turn off "auto-flicker" if you use it outdoors. Otherwise the sunlight will wash out the image.
