Used Hannibal 1.2M sale feeler

So I've been thinking about selling the RTT and getting a new one, a later year or so maybe less. Anyhow it's age is unknown but I rebuilt the floor and re-waterproofed the fabric and added a new cover. It can be mounted any way you like and I though about adding electrical channel to the bottom to make it even easier to attach. I have about $400 into it and wouldn't feel it right to ask more. Thoughts?

Hey, if you want to give that tent a fresh coat of color, I am told by one of the manufacturers that carpet die is what is used to give the canvas its color.

It looks great, however as it sits. Nicely seasoned.

Good luck with the sale.

When I bought it it was rough, I replaced the floor, patched the screen, re stapled it to the new floor, purchased a rain fly for the next size up though the width is the same as the 1.4M. I'm using a 2" foam topper and my thermarest camp mattresses for a bed surface and wow is it comfy. I know I'll be getting a new one eventually but there is a baby on the way and I need some baby junk. I hate to think about selling it but I put a great deal of time into it and my wife and I have had a blast using it. I will be in Maggie Valley NC, Murphy NC, and Summerville GA, and everywhere in between late march to early April if this might move it easier, but let me tell you if I drive this thing up and you decide not to go with it there will be bullet holes in your rig :coffeedrink:

I am very interested...to confirm, there are no leaks or rips? The only "problem" is the discoloration from use?

Yeah it's discolored "seasoned" does not leak, there are a few spots where the canvas looks like it's getting thin but in the event you had a problem a new piece could just be sewn in over it. I drilled out the hinge where it attaches to the floor to make it not bind in the center. It's a good tent and will last for quite a bit of time. I will be heading through CA in about 2 years on my NA tour trip which takes me up the eastern sea board Canada and the western sea board and everything in between. But by then I will have and AT and a new RTT :).

When in the next few months will you be closest to Missouri?

Also, the few spots the canvas appears to be getting thin...are they large areas/based on the amount of times you have used it and the time it has taken to get to that thickness, how long would you guess before it would need tending to?
Not a huge deal, just trying to see if I would be up for the possible "project" and when to expect doing it.

if you were a 1000 miles closer to Ohio it would be gone by now.
Somebody buy this thing before I tell my Boss I need along weekend!:smiley_drive:

They are random spots nearer to the floor or base of the tent, maybe a year or two before you will have to patch it. I tight hand stitch will suffice as long as you can sew. Though most overlanders need to be know how to sew it just comes with the territory.

16 Years on ExPo. Whoa!!
That is a hell of a deal. Forward Air and USF Reddaway all do terminal to terminal shipping for not a lot. You could strap it to a pallet and probably get it to a major city from $60-$100 I'd figure.

Hope it helps, Andre
