ToolBox Guy,

Are you satisfied with the craftsmanship of the utility bed? Were they easy to work with and how long was the build time?

Thanks

Satisfied, yes.....Impressed, no.

I'm in a tough position to judge though, building truck boxes, fuel tanks, flatbeds, and toolboxes is primarily what I build for a living. At the time I bought this box, I was far too busy and too broke to actually build my own utility box. I needed one and this was the best way to go.
Pacific was very easy to deal with, and I recommend them, but i would be moremthan happy to give you some advice before ordering

Utility bed's are an awesome way to streamline a camping system, but beware the weight and stiffness - I am in the process of repairing/re-engineering the FRAME of my truck which cracked and almost broke completely - overloaded on bad roads

I'm new to the forum, because I wanted to share this experience - I will get photos together sometime soon once we are on the road again

Unless you have them match the paint, with the right paint code and clearcote, don't paint a utility body to match the truck. Get it done in black instead or something to blend the camper, truck, and body together.

The generic white utility bodies aren't even close to the white that Ford and GM use. Looks terrible.

$5k is a sweet deal. Make sure the body isn't flimsy first though. See one in person.
