Valve Cover Gasket, 6G74

Does anyone know, I have the intake manifold off right now and it sure looks to me like the valve covers would just slide to the rear and be off. On the front of them there is a wing that extends into some of the timing belt covers. Can someone confirm that valve cover job doesn’t require any of the front stuff on the engine to be removed?
Thanks

If you loosen the timing belt covers they can move forward and the valve covers can come off. You don't have to undo or loosen the accessory bracket.

The EGR valve pipe gets in the way. There is a bolt hiding behind it, once that’s loose it all moves out of the way of one of the valve cover gasket bolts. 👍

Glad I took the time to do them. I had just started getting oil burning smell and seeing leaks up top in the last year or so. The old ones were flattened out pretty good.
