Van floor plan with 2 small children?

Well, for my van it looks to be about $2000 plus $250 for shipping. Not too bad. But there are a couple options that I would want such as sliding windows.
I don't understand what a standard flange and reverse flange are. Something about mounting...I will search. Still curious about fuel mileage.
I would say a good chance I could install with some help from my friend.

Called Fiberine today about a top for my E350 EB. Installed, with optional windows and painted white like my Van would be $2600. Doesn't seem to bad really. For me its better than spending $6000 for the SMB pop top. I bought the van for $6500 so its hard to justify $6000. Anyway, the girl who gave me the quotes was very nice. I think I would like to go visit them (since I'm in Az) and see 1st hand on how they do it. Plus I would like to come up with ideas for an upper bed.

...I looked at the goucho seats and like them but I dont feel safe having my children sitting sideways cruising at 70mph down the highway. Is it safe letting them travel sitting like that?...
I feel the same. It's a compromise many RV's make, and it is legal, but I don't like that idea either if given a choice.
Facing forward with lap and shoulder restraints just has to be the safer setup...doesn't it?
