Vario rear axle dry weight

Does anyone know how much an 814d rear axle minus suspension and wheels would weigh?

I suppose I have to ask why? I am guessing you need to collect one.

I would take a guess at 200 - 300 kgs depending if discs & calipers are on it.

Thanks, yeah getting one shipped. Yes, it's complete so I guess if i said 500kgs there'd be a huge margin for error... cheers

Ok, it arrived today, had to buy the complete axle. First concern was how rusty the outer diff case is, I know it's a thick casting but some 6mm thick pieces were coming off when hit with a hammer

Took the case off and all seems well with the diff itself so I may be forced to swap cases with my original one. Anyone ever dismantled these diffs before (Andylod?) and how difficult is it?
