Vector Offroad's JK Element Plate

[Vector OffRoad]

Vector Offroad's newest product is the JK Element Plate. The Element Plate provides the following benefits:

- Mount for RotoPax Water/Fuel/Storage containers. The plate can hold qty 2-1 gallon RotoPax containers, or qty 2-2 gallon RotoPax Containers.

- Re-Use the OEM mounting holes and OEM bolts to mount the Element Plate(no drilling required for installation).

- Maintain the OEM rear cargo-door baffle.

- Relocation point for the license plate with pre-lasered holes for the Off-Road Only 3rd Brakelight and license plate light.

- The Element plate can be used for a license plate relocation point, or the Rotopax mount. It can't be used for both options at the same time.

- Standard black powder coat.

Interesting idea

Does this mean we can not carry a spare in this spot, if so non starter for me. An idea would be to use some mount similar to the Thule spare tire bike rack or Olympic spare tire cargo rack. Mounting on the plate through the spare and on the end ( don't know if that makes sense). I am going to try that, but not very good at fab work. Good luck, keep the ideas coming.

This is for the folks that don't run a spare on the tailgate, ie, no spare at all, spare in cargo area or spare on roof rack.

This is designed for Jeep's that don't carry the Spare on the tailgate. The plate will not work with a swing away carrier either.

Thats cool, and MAY be enough room for the Rotopax with some manufacturers tire carriers.

Yes, if the closest side of your carrier is further than ~4.25" from outside of tailgate it might fit. The element plate protrudes about an inch, the Rotopax ~3", and then some of the pax mount handle protrudes also.
