Farmer Jon
I am posting this ad on behalf of my brother or more specifically on behalf of his very nice Range Rover Classic. My brother has decided that it is time to move on to a different vehicle and has now got his very nice 1993 Range Rover Classic with 162,xxx miles is
up for sale. Between the Land Rover garages, my brother, and myself we have a large amount of time into this RRC. I know that some people “say” that they have put a lot of time into their vehicles, but this vehicle “actually has” had a lot time put into it; not to mention a lot of money as well. I will be completely honest with you. He has around $11,000 into right now and there is very little left that someone could do to make this thing truly awesome. There are still a few smaller things that could still be done. The interior of this RRC is very clean and quite nice for its age. It does show its maturity in a couple areas such as the armrests of the front seats but overall it is much nicer than many of the other RRC’s these days. I would truly like to see this Classic go to a good home with some who will understand the amount of effort that has been put into it and will continue to treat it well.
In the time he has owned it, here is the information I know about it:
The work when not done by my brother and I has been done at Green Oval Motors and Land Rover of Portland
The head gaskets have been replaced within the last 7k miles during which the heads were machined and valves ground
New (Brembo) rear discs and new pads in the back, the fronts discs are the originals but have been re-surface and have new pads but new front (Brembo) discs are included as well.
All four stub axles seals have been replaced with new ones
New brake pressure cylinder.
New hose kit, half of the new hoses in use other haven’t been installed just yet
New tires $860
New shocks all around $600
Engine has been timed as well as a new cap, rotor, and plugs have been fitted
New Stereo deck, amp, speakers, and Subwoofer (with a custom enclosure to fit neatly in the stock location) $800
New power steering pump
New power steering box
New exhaust Y pipe
New exhaust resonator
Replaced the right front CV Joint.
He is looking to get around $5000 FIRM, partly to try to recover some of the money he has put into it, but also to make sure that it goes to a good home. Make no mistake; this is a very nice Range Rover Classic. So if you have been searching for a good one you should come take a look at this one. If you have any questions just send me a PM and I will give you his phone number.
Thank you!
Have a good one!
