VMAX AGM batteries

These batteries seem to have a fairly high AH/volume ratio.
For example: their VMAX-857 model battery is sized 7.7" x 5" x 6.1" with 35 AH.
My current odyssey 925 is 6.64" x 5.04" x 7.05" with 28 AH

AH per unit volume is:
6.7 AH per cubic inch for VMAX
and
6.04 AH per cubic inch for Odyssey.

Price is $130 for VMAX and $180 for Odyssey.

So, AH/inch^3/dollar is 0.052 for VMAX and .026 for Odyssey.

It seems that a change is a no brainer...what am I missing?

I think these V max batteries are just rebranded/labelled Asian Universal batteries.

No proof of that though.

Note the maximum recharge rates, like the "125 A/H" vmax says to limit charging amps to no more than 30 amps
Whereas an Odyssey will say the same size battery can take 300 amps or more/

Looking at UB Specs the self discharge rates are barely better than a flooded battery. The CCA figures are not nearly as impressive as other AGM's It says fast recharge, but then says to limit recharging current to a rate that will not be fast, compared to what other AGMs like Odyssey and Lifeline can take and want.

The Vmax battery might very well perform nicely for one's uses, I don't know, but it cannot be compared to a high quality AGM like a Lifeline, and Odyssey, or a NorthStar.

The Latter 3 batteries, Specifically the Odyssey Specs a Minimum 40% charging rate when deeply cycled, which is not easy to meet, and basically impossible via only solar on most any vehicle. This can make such a demanding AGm a poor choice for a "solar only" recharge battery, and an AGm that says do not exceed a certain amperage as a percentage of capacity, might make it a better choice for a solar battery.
