It'd be really nice if they did. And though I've not heard anything, it might be sensible . . . Hino brought back their Low Cab Forward truck to the US market a couple of years ago after their truck and the Ford/International and UD LCFs went away last decade. (I can't remember whether it was the 2007 emission rules or the recession that did them in; one or the other, I'm pretty sure.)
Anyway, the ten tonne (hence non-CDL) Volvo with the available 4x4 would be a sweet starting point for a big expedition truck. Hope it happens.
