To be fair, they sell trailers, not intelligence.

Also, it may be possible to pay off the loan early and avoid a lot of that interest.

So as Shade pointed out, the financing company does not have a prepayment penalty. So if you're offered a 60 month loan, you're welcome to make larger payments than required and pay it off in 36 months. Doing that will save you money on the interest charged.

They actually have a lower rate than is stated on their website. If your credit score is 680+ you'll probably be offered financing at around 5.5%. Which isn't bad for financing a toy.

Certainly there are many drawback to financing. But life is short so sometimes financing makes sense. It especially makes sense if you have other investments returning over 5.5%.
