VW California XXL camper concept

Campers designed in Europe often have a more modern design aesthetic. The VW California XXL camper concept has the sleek interior of a Gulfstream executive jet. By extending the roofline forward and back of the Crafter van it's based on, the California XXL adds useful space without looking clunky. (Remember the awkward Airstream 190?). lots of interesting ideas here.

That's pretty sweet.

The Crafter used to be a rebranded Sprinter with a VW specific front clip, now it is an all new vehicle.

In the near future they will be available as front, rear, or 4motion AWD.
Also, 6 and 8 speed transmissions, air ride seats and a bunch of other cool stuff we can only dream about here in the states.
