Hey all. Been out of the loop for a while. But I just say this truck for sale, and thought someone could make it into a pretty good base for a conversion. Looks like it might have been a prisoner transport. Low miles.

Wow - that would be an incredible starting point for an expo rig. Wonder what the price is? Also if a 2009 has any emissions hardware on the CAT engine... I think it wouldn't. Already has a toilet too!

Emissions for diesels (at least for pickups) started in 2007 AFIK.

That's as easy as taking a part time job with a bus company. They pay for training, then work a few months to pay for upgrades to the camper and retire with a Class B CDL.

at least in my state, you have no say so, they use what ever the GVWR is on the sticker.
