Waking up a 360?

Swapping a 12v into something is easy.

On the frame side, if its beefy enough, I would imagibe, just get the engine mounts.

The Rear D60, would be on borrowed time. The front NEEDS to be a D60 as well.

The 4500 bellhousing issue, I am not sure at all.

Anyone have an idea how much work it would be to put a 12v into a gas powered 2500? And, if it isn't stupid expensive to do, would a D60 rear stand up to the torque? I would guess stronger shafts and gears are needed. If one found a V10 truck the swap might be easier? Stronger drive train from the start? Did the V10 come with the NV4500? If so, same bell housing as 12v?

should be easy...since they came in those trucks.

I did a gibson catback on a 98 1500 dodge that improved the butt dyno feel and was not obscenely loud.

Hmmmm, wish I had been around earlier to help you out.

I woke up my 360 with the following:

Spectre CAI
Mopar Performance cap and rotor
Taylor Spiro-Pro 8mm wires
Fastman 52 mm throttlebody
Magnaflow high-flow y pipe and cat
Flowmaster 40-Series SI/DO
Replace intake plenum gasket

But the biggest difference was the Superchips tuner. ESPECIALLY if your truck has the infamous "Death Flash".

If you haven't already done any of these, give 'em a shot.

FWIW, my next performance mod will be the Harland Sharp 1.7:1 Roller Rockers.

Hmmm, upon reading your sig it seems you no longer have the Ram with the 360. Late to the party again.
