I'm officially expanding my search to include M416 trailers in good original shape. I want to restore one, but would like an original in usable condition to start. Must have the original Lunette/ landing leg. Will consider minor modifications such as tailgate or lid if done well (no hack jobs). Prefer original wheels/ tires. Will consider ones with other wheels/ tires if you have the originals. Quite frankly, if you have the originals, throw them on and sell your fancy ones to someone else.
Still really want an M101CDN, but it might be a while to find and I'd like to have a trailer ready for a spring 2014 trip.
I've seen the ones that are available in town at the local surplus, too bad the guy is nuts with his prices.
Would like to keep it within about an 8 hour drive (one way) of Tucson, Az. As always, any leads appreciated.
