Understood on not wanting the trade. They look pretty boogered up. Would plasti-dipping them help or would that essentially just be a band-aid?

Plastidip would solve most of the issues with these wheels. All paint chips and scratches would fill in and be unnoticable. You'd still see some of the curb rash, but even that would be hidden pretty well by a coat of plastidip

You could use JB weld to fill in gashes if you are going to paint them anyways. I did a set of Xterra wheels this way and they turned out great.
