Hello expo members, my friend pointed me to this site. He has a Conqueror trailer and I'm looking to pick one up for myself. He has a base camp model but I'm not picky. I may even take a Compact model. Either one will work for me, but I prefer a Base Camp.
Also the newer the better. I have about a $10K Budget for this. Please no Chaser models they are too small for my preference but I'm not knocking them.So if you have one or know of one please let me know
Thank You

I have a Base Camp that is in Like New condition. Kitchen utensils have never been used. It has just been painted to match my white Land Rover Discovery. I don't think I am ready to sell it however. Have plans to use it this summer. Might consider selling it in the fall if you are still looking. You will not find a nicer one. The 20 ft diameter awning has never been used. In fact trailer has only been on one trip. It has been in storage. Is wired american with IOTA converter charger

Wow, looks like you have a great set up. I can't believe how hard it is to get a hold of one of these trailers. I've looked all over the US and there are none to be found. Camping season is here and I want one of these to use this summer with my friends.
I had a lead on one in Arizona but his was gone the first week.

Anyways thank you, if I cant find anything I'll keep you in mind.

Try finding one in Canada.
Contact Muleshoer from these forums, he had a Compact last month that he offered me.
And STREGA has an AT Horizon for sale.
I may be the one that secured that one you had a lead on in AZ.

Good luck

ok, what in particular is it that makes the Base camp the one you need to have ?

Asking as a Base camp owner..... :coffee:

Well I'm just partial to the size of the trailer. I've looked at other off road trailers and they are a bit small for me and my family. I have 4 small kids so this fits us with the large tent up top and the smaller tent underneath the rack.
You just get a lot of features out of the trailer.
They are also built like tanks, hence the price of them.
But that being said try finding one, they go as quickly as they come.

Trak Shak

I saw someone had a trak shak for sale about a month ago, it had 2 queen size beds and looked like it would fit a larger family. You may want to search on that.

Out of my price range at $12k but the web site would have sold me.

Good luck in your search

Still looking?

I have a Base Camp, purchased via this forum in October 2010. Original owner bought it from the Atlanta dealer that brought them in.

I am moving soon and will need to buy a new house, so I am "contemplating" freeing up the cash I have in the trailer for assisting in a downpayment on the house. Very reluctantly I might add, but we can talk.

If you are still interested please contact me via here or theopojo@hotmail.com so we can share some specifics and details of the trailer.

Located in Louisiana, soon to be Houston or Denver come Oct/Nov/Dec.
(why am I thinking of selling it again??? grrr....)
