wanted snorkel head.

I have the aev snorkel on my jeep jk, but since the air ram head is not available yet, I need to see if anyone have a safari snorkel head laying arround, because I can not use the prefilter head with my roof rack.
so I have a piece of pipe installed temporary ..
the intake is 3 inches so the arb should fit fine.

The Safari snorkel head is a Donaldson part. It should be obtainable at any truck supply place or Donaldson agent.

Only the pre-filters are a Donaldson part, the actual ram heads are a Safari Snorkel molded design.

Any ARB dealer should be able to get you a new snorkel ram, ARB USA stocks them all separately in Seattle and some vendors may have them in stock too!

FYI - Last I heard, the Donaldson 3" Ram Air was discontinued. :-(

The Safari/ARB Ram Air is back-ordered 'till the end of the month. AEV's supposed to have their Ram Air head available around the same time. Coincidence? Hmmm...

Keep checking with vendors

SS is all manufactured in Aussie, then distributed through the US. While AEV and ARB have some obvious ties here in the US, AEV has their own production facilities, etc. I'd expect a completely different product from them. However its possible SS is making AEV's components, not unheard of at all in this industry.

Sorry for the confusion but just to make it clear I don't have the 3" units in stock. The majority of the units I sell/install are the 3.5" so thats all I've ever stocked. You might try and find a sympathetic dealer that has a snorkel in stock that uses the 3" and see if they are willing to rob the ram unit for a few weeks.

Which roof rack do you have?

I had to add some thick washers on mine to make it fit with the Garvin.

I think you can see them in this shot...
