I have always wondered about rebate programs that require sending in the original receipt. How does a person go about getting warranty service after that? I need a winch, but not sure I want to give up the receipt. Is a copy of the receipt acceptable for warranty purposes?

I am sure a copy would be fine. You could always ask the store you bought it from to print you two.

The original receipt must be sent in for the rebate. A copy is all we require for warranty work.
