Very nice! This is the biggest vehicle/camper combo I could ever see myself in. If I needed more room your truck is a perfect example of the route I would probably go.

Nice set-up...I like the way the slide-in's sides are flush with the truck's flanks. We considered going this route and we'll be interested in how your preceptions of your new "shanty" evolve as you put it to use. Looks really good sitting on top of your Tundybird.

Thanks Mark. I was really influenced by the camper Rob (@Phoenix Pop Up) built for the DC Tacoma that Runt has.
I liked that clean look and decided to have one made in a Tundra flavor.

Congratulations, the two look really good together, so much so that people may assume it came that way straight from the factory.

One thing that occurred to me is that if unlatched, and in windy conditions, might the door blow open and strike the gas can holder right by the window area...

Yes, that could definitely happen. If you look closely near the bottom left corner of the window you might be able to see the rubber bumper secured to the frame, acting as a cushion.

Thanks Suni.
As you know I was motivated by your set up early on. :sombrero:
BTW we passed thru your locale (after staying the night @Leo Carrillo SP) on the way home.
Growing up in LA, I spent lots of years surfing that stretch of the coast, and it was cool to show it to my daughter.

Wow, Walt and all your friends here on the portal..... I am humbled. This is Rob from Phoenix Pop up.

It was wonderful working with, then finally meeting Walt and Family....... Walt designed this unit, and did a great job! We just do our best to bring peoples ideas and dreams to life. We are always thankful for the opportunity to do so.

I do think this is a really cool rig though!

Enjoy it Walt!
