Waterproofing Canvas Tent

We are needing to waterproof the canvas on our old Apache tent trailer. Appears to be basically plain old canvas, we got caught in a surpise rain storm. It doesn't have any holes but it did have a couple spots that were seeping thru.

Any pointers on what to use? How to best go about doing it?

I thought getting wet in a canvas tent was just as much a part of the experience as the smell. But we didn’t have much growing up.

Imagine a canvas tent with a plywood floor though...

You would need Fabsil or Nikwax. Both are good.
