Just ordered 2 Odyssey 34-PC1500T-A's and the Blue Sea stuff for a dual battery set up in my 2002 Discovery. The Blue Sea parts will be in Thursday and the batteries will be here on Tuesday. I will post pic's of the install in this post when I get started. Just wanted to give you all a big thanks for all the info in this forum.

Some new toys are in WIN_20140612_153502.JPG
Also picked up the 4/0 wire, battery terminals, and a bunch more stuff. Was hoping to work on it tomorrow but that changed when Walmart called and said my 285 Nitto Trail Grapplers were in.

Well the battery tray is made. My welder went overkill with 2" angle.

The batteries finally came in yesterday. Think I have all the major parts now. Just need to fab up the mounting plate for the controller.

4/0 cable.....WHOoooooooooooHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Feed them Hungry Odysseys, cause they love as much current as you can realistically feed them.

Do you have a grid powered charging source too?

Deeply cycled Odysseys want 40% the 20 hour capacity rate until 14.7v is reached then hold 14.7 for 4 hours.

Few charging sources actually achieve this. Most are a far cry from this manufacturer recommendation and will negatively effect longevity
