What all do you pack on your Bicycle?

..I realize the term "Bikepacking" has and still is loosely described and as a result has a couple variable meanings.

...The one that comes to mind for me is:

A combination of bike touring and backpacking often on more of a mountain bike with combined on and off road for extended periods of time..

How one packs for bikepacking as well as everyday riding is defined by the rider as in needs, desire, and comfort level of each trip..

..I should probably add that although I do have "ultra lite" gear such as a sleeping bag at 1.5 pounds and a 1.5" regular pad that weighs 1 pound, I know other minimalist will carry less on their bikepacking trips..

But again I thought this thread would allow us all to share what we carry on our bikes no matter what or how we ride as I beleive I too have something to learn and to share growing up with the start of bmx to bikepacking...I'm not much of a touring guy although I try to get a 35 mile ride to the beach and back every couple of months..

I hope others feel welcome enough to continue sharing what they pack on their bikes even if they don't pack ultra lite..:D

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. With regard to bikepacking, you won't find many guys offering suggestions for laptop charging solutions, as most bikepackers don't even carry simple things like stoves. Bike TOURING, you will likely find people hauling that type of electronic.

As for your general question, I think it's a tough one to answer as it involves a very broad set of answers. What any rider carries on a daily ride will differ radically from what they carry on a long day ride, singletrack bikepack, or full blown long-haul road tour. It also varies by terrain, season, and even with the purpose of the ride. My bikepacking race set up is way different from my non-racing bikepacking set up.

..Your starting to catch on..;)

...Nowhere did I say before that I am solely a bikepacker although your post seem to suggest my intent for this thread belongs in some classification for that.I'm just guessing here but I think my thread using panniers might have led you to beleive something other than the true intent of the title of this thread..

It is open for all types of bike enthusiast to share whst they carry when bikeriding.

But for some reason I get the feeling if I had posted my Kona Hahanna with a custom frame bag I would only get the ultra lite mountain biking group of this forum to post...I would probably loose street creds as I choose to have a kick stand for it though..:(
