what are Cons and Pros between Grn 2.5 and Gen 3

beside Gen2.5 are truck base , what are cons and Pros between Gen 2.5 and Gen 3?

I found gen 2.5 in good condition with 99K miles , but with 4K I probably can get genIII 2001 . what would you do?

I love my 2.5 , it has this expedition look and off road proven capabilities.

Gen 3 , I can't say too much since I don't own one, but I have to say for overlanding purpose, it looks really comfortable for long road trip. I really digg Gen 3 interior thought.

If so it looks clean and nice. Just go buy it. The price isn't that high.....what else are you going to find with those miles and that condition for $5k without spending forever looking? If that was a cruiser it would be double the price with over double the miles.

No doubt. For $3500 I'd be all over it.

yes, that is the one. I ask for some pics from under truck to make sure there is no rust.

Yep that's the one. There's a white base in Michigan with 73k miles for $1k less that looks nicer. And actually has pictures worth talking about.

The dealer still has yet to send me any pictures on the Lexington one, but they were more than happy to send me about a dozen auto replies.

Lexington one would be a good buy at a grand less. They aren't going to have any records of service so you'll want to do timing belt and all that.

MI = Likely rust though or at least corrosion on all the hardware

Yep. I'm not sure i'd expect the Lexington one to be a huge amount better for the same reason. The last KY truck i bought was rust free... but the hardware fought me every time i worked on it.
