What are thoughts on the 460 motor?

They are asking $4500 for the truck it has 150K and the body and interior are in good shape, just faded from the sun. The clutch is very soft and will slip when brake pressure or on a step hill. I offered him $1800 for the truck. It has been for sale for 6 months. Well see.

I paid $4300 for mine, full load, new (300 miles)performance diesel tranny (E4OD), mint body and very good interior, rhino lined box with fully lined camper shell centerline forged wheels, big stereo with new amp, subs etc. It was what I wanted an most important to me, original owner who babied it. I knew I was buying a good truck. Your $1800 sounds fair if it needs work.
