Hit it with the pressure washer. Yesterday did a pre-run of trails with my Jeep club for a charity event next month.

Kojack the interior rack is for sale now. I just had a conversation with Teraflex about it at the beginning of this month. They have it out on FB also. I was a little disappointed with the pricing I saw since when they debuted at Sema they said it was $299. Their website shows the Silver @$299 and black @$425 and both you still have to purchase the rails. I asked them why the price is so drastically different and their response was "the price difference in the storage racks comes from the black rails. They are an architectural hi UV resistant black annodize, and just that coating alone is twice as expensive as the silver ones which is just a clear annodize." So now if you want the black one you are basically around same price as the AT rack. Their response makes me feel like the silver one will not hold up and then purchasing the black one means I might as well get the AT one. I will wait and see what is said about the silver I guess before I make my mind up totally. I do love TF and run their lift so this was a little bit of a debbie downer.

Sorry, haven't been on in a while, or I would have responded sooner. I can't speak for other progressive rate springs, but the metal cloak's are sweet! When the guys said it would settle to a finished height of between 15" & 15.75" based on the description of my equipment, they were dead on. Settled spring height is 15.75". I have a stock bumper, 9500# winch and some skid plates, so not a ton of extra weight on the front. The old springs were by a big name company that starts with an S and I had to replace the rear springs last year b/c I was sick of my jeep riding on the bump stops b/c the springs had sagged so badly. The front set was holding up to the original 2.5" lift height, but the poly spacers were shot and the ride of the red springs was BAD. The orig lift had heim-joint control arms, and combining those with the springs, it was getting tooth rattling. In the spring I swapped to a full set of Metal Cloak control arms b/c the rear heims were starting to rattle from wear. The new CA's where a huge improvement in ride, but having OME springs in the rear and the SJ's in the front was a terrible match. The MC front springs are an excellent match to the OME rears (which are 2" lift sitting on spring relocators that add 1.5" of lift so MC's were also the best spring to match ride height.) Call the guys at metal cloak, talk about your set up and they can tell you how their parts will fit your needs (or not I suppose) I just got their front track bar too to upgrade from the factory one, but don't have it installed to review it.

For the progressive vs linear springs, I'm pretty happy with my current combo of linear springs up front, progressive springs in the rear on the ZJ. I haven't tried anything progressive in the front to compare though. And it's not a perfect reference point for a lot of you guys either, as my springs are far stiffer than most would run.

As far as doing things to the ZJ, I'm currently trying to hunt down an intermittent misfire at low rpm (only at idle and under significant load, and it's not quite a dead miss and totally random as far as when it does/doesn't do it). It's gonna get new plugs, cap and rotor tomorrow to see if that helps anything. If not, then it's either plug wires or a fuel issue. Based on the feel of it and watching the wideband O2 readout when it happens, it's not a dying fuel pump or fuel pressure issue, so if it's fuel related then it's either a cam sensor or a bad injector (conveniently, I have another set I can throw in with just a few changes to the tune).

Got tired of the Check Guages light coming on. Volt meter would start out around 13v and after a few minutes would drop to zero. Swapped in a new Alternator and serviced the battery connections. Volt meter now stays at a solid 14v which hasn't happened for at least 6 months.

Rails are included in the $299.00 price.....well at least mine were.....I think you are referring to the parts that closes in the open area from the top rail to the bottom.
