Looks great!! Is that peel coat like plastidip?

I think every major paint manufacturer has an equivalent. That one is manufactured by Rustoleum. Duplicolor has one called Custom Wrap. It sure did peel off like Plastidip. Well I assume so anyway, I've never used Plastidip. That's what I was looking for at Autozone, but this was all I found.

Used jays write up to fix the headlight sprayers on my 96 sr. Hardest part was getting those damn clips out of the inner fender well.

In diagnosing the need for the replacement starter that died on me, I also bought me a new battery at the Autozone.

I finally got around to fixing my AC. Installed a new compressor belt, filled the system with a can of Auto-Pro. The compressor seems to be working fine and she blows cold but so I'm going to let it sit overnight and check the line pressure tomorrow to see if it's leaking. There's surely a reason the system was empty, I just don't know what that reason is since it hasn't worked since I bought the truck.

Replaced a leaking fuel filler neck. It had some dry rot and leaked between 1 & 2 cups of gasoline after about 5 gallons being dispensed from the fuel pump. It left a nice little puddle of leaked fuel at the gas station.

Replaced the busted condenser fan with a 14" Hayden 3690 unit. Barely fit and took about 3 hours but now the ac blows ice cold. and $69.99 vs the factory one whick was 314.

Also put in a 180* thermostat. And removed the v6 emblem from the grill.

We'll see how she does as it gets hotter.

Removed the factory mudflaps. The front ones were just barely attached anyway and I actually think the truck just looks better without them.

I got the Air Conditioning inspected, evacuated, leaks found and fixed, New drier was installed, then the system was recharged. I'm happy to report that the renewed R12 is blowing ice cold.

Changed my blown alternator for a good one, it was in an absolute pain of a spot, but didn't take long once the but was cracked loose. Doing a brake caliper today and then all is good and ready for more driving
