What do you put in your peli case?

I had one of those moments a couple years ago went through a phase...

The small ones I use for stashing misc items in my cars, the larger ones are filled with camping stuff in the closet. I really never needed them, but they are cool to have.

What model case did you use for those batteries? Do you have a build thread for that little power station?

I did have a thread, but it seems to have been deleted with no backup to be found. They are Pelican 1300's, two 35ah SLA batteries, 12v charger, 400w inverter, and milspec connections.


Here are some more pics that I dug up though. The one oddball case is a 1200 I believe, but I switched to a 1300 to keep them all the same size.

Got one with all GoPro gear, One for the Canon DSLR and one for the Zoom H5N, cables and lavs. I use two 1550s as panniers on the KLR. I did have all my recovery gear in a 1650 in the back of my XJ but I swear I was exceeding GVW when it was there. I do love Pelican cases but they're sort of heavy and not particularly efficient.
