What do you store your camper on?

We'll be picking up our new Hallmark Everest in a few weeks (!) and will be storing it in our shop building when we're not using it.
I want to build some sort of platform to rest the camper on instead of just the 4 jacks and am looking for ideas.

Let's see what you've got!
Thanks.

I have two friends with Ute's and they use saw horses, with jacks holding slight load. I use the wood thingie in the photo. I would love something with castor wheels so I can roll it around some.

I built a dolly with industrial casters (rated up to something like 750# for $30 each), a 4x4" PT frame, firmed that up with a 2x6" PT board across each end to tie the corners together and give a better mounting point for the casters, and just a single sheet of 3/8" OSB across the top. Total cost was well under $200 and it would probably hold two campers like mine.

Ignore the crazy guy in the photo.

IF you want to be able to move the camper around any easy way to do it is to stack up a few pallets below the camper body to get the required height and then slip in a pallet jack under the pallets to move the camper around. You can pick up a pallet jack for around $260.00

I have mine sitting on a small trailer. The jacks go out far enough I can just lower it off the truck and role the trailer under. I can move it around my yard or strap it on and run it down the road to the shop of I am working on it.

Just got a cheapy harbor freight trailer. I set iit down on it and let off all the weight from the jacks. Capacity of the trailer is borderline but I dont use it to haul it anywhere

Hopeless: Is that the Harbor Freight 1200 lb capacity trailer? I have been thinking about the same trailer. I need to unload on a gravel driveway, and then find some way to get my camper into the garage. How does it work for you?

It's the little bit bigger one, 1790lbs. Platform is 4'x 8' so I knew the camper would fit fine. I have a Hallmark K2 with a gray water tank that hangs below the bottom of the camper floor (It's an 8' camper designed for a shortbed). I have to let it sit off the back a little, still a little nose heavy. My plan originally was to use to maneuver into the garage but I can't move it by hand. I basically just use it so it's not sitting on the jacks and the floor is supported for going in and out of it.

Hopeless: Thanks for the info and reply. I am looking at some of the smaller trailers and considering the HF 1200 lb. trailer for my FWC. Thanks again.

I have a plywood platform that looks a lot like Topher's. My old Bigfoot is currently stored on it. My new (a year old now) Phoenix is just sitting on it's jacks, I am considering buying one of those inexpensive trailers to store it on. My brother has his popup stored that way, and it's great. We can grab the trailer with a truck or the shop forklift and maneuver it around wherever we need to.
