What do you think is a fair price?

More advice...I think it is worth a bit more than 4k. At least in my area, I would shoot for 5k and go from there.

Another thing on pictures, make sure you have photos with it looking clean as a whistle. IMHO, nothing looks worse than seeing a list of parts that look great and the photos of the rig covered in mud. I know that is the purpose of the rig, but it gives the impression that you don't give a $hit about the rig. Someone who keeps it looking sharp cares more and it makes me more interested.

did you change the rear tailgate? i thought in 94 they added the third brake light?

I do have the third brake light its a little tough to see. It might have been burnt out at that time too.

You can watch your local Craigslist (use Searchtempest.com) to monitor prices of other similar XJs. You can tell who is asking too much when their Jeep stays on the market forever. Try to use their high prices as your barometer.

Again, I don't know your personal situation, but I wouldn't sell it.
