What have you replaced the temp gauge in your Tdi with?

Hi Gene,
The bit you are looking at is an elbow with 2 big switches in the bottom..yes? thats for the air con on a disco, I took mine off and fitted a defender "elbow" - no water temperature switches.
I'm in work at mo so dont have access to parts manual for correct names.

The sender for the temp gauge is in the bottom part of the thermostat housing under the elbow, crap iphone pic attached.
you should be able to see the cable off the brass hex nut going into the conduit.
