What do yal think is the best 15 inch rims? I am running moabs now but i want 33x10.50 km2s because they are alot cheaper than 285/75r16 KM2s. I could spend the money for new rims and 33s or keep moabs and get the more expensive 285s i dont know what to do because i havent found a rim that i like better or as good as the Stock Moabs. Please give yals opinion and pictures.

Hahahahaha last a lifetime.
There is not a lot of non steal wheels out there designed for offroad abuse. If you find some please share. Everything I have run across is cheap cast.

Paid $85 each for the wheels when I got whole set of wheels and 33 inch tires... They are American Outlaw Deputy wheels from Discount Tire. $1600.01 out the door and take off another $125 in rebates a few weeks later.

I would definitely make the move to 15'' wheels with the 33x10.50. In that particular tire, the 285/75/16 weighs 10 lbs. more than the 33x10.50. Also consider that the 285 is a load range E tire while the 33x10.50 is load range C. All depends on what you are using them for. I can tell you that I had 285's on my TJ and couldn't wait to get them off.

If I still had my TJ and wanted to go to a 15'' wheel I would strongly consider the American Racing Mojave Teflon. They have a utilitarian look to them without being a heavy steel wheel. In fact the 15x8 weighs in at 19.5 lbs. while you're Moab wheels weigh in right at 25 lbs. Pair them with the 33x10.50's and you're talking about a 15lb. weight difference PER corner. 60lbs. total unsprung weight which is just like throwing 120 lbs. of gear in the back of your Jeep. That is a big weight difference that I guarantee you will feel. The lighter weight combo will put much less stress on your brakes and steering components and of course not zap nearly the amount of power that the wider tires will on the stock alloys.

Here is a pic of an XJ with those wheels and the BFG's. Not sure of the tire size though.

I'm partial to the classics, American Racing 62/Outlaw II, but I have to agree with mires that the teflon Mojave is probably IMHO one of the best looking off road 15" wheels. I don't much care for the highly styled wheels, understated is good. There are people you meet who don't have to tell you how good they are at their job, they are confident and their outward appearance is sorted and belies their expertise without looking either ragged or flashy. The automotive equivalent is to call something a sleeper, which I think describes the Mojave. Actually overall that Cherokee to me screams super capable, sort of like the time we banged and bounced around a trail all day and found a guy with a VW Beetle sitting there with his camp already set up. He didn't have to say one word for us to know he was kinda rad.

I never heard of these before. I am looking for new wheels, and now they are on my list. I have Moabs now, and had black Cragar V5s on my old TJ.

Mires why couldnt you wait to get the 285s off? And i really like the Mojavies!

I just felt like they were too much for the TJ. I felt like I lost a lot of power and fuel mileage definitely took a hit. Being a wider tire, they seemed to find every rut and groove in the road and pulled the short wheelbase Jeep all over the place. Once I went to the 33x10.50 I was much happier all around. Not to say the 285's weren't livable. Just not what I look for in a daily driver tire.
