I would agree with the other posts for the Wilderness Tactical instructor belt. I wear one every day and as part of my SAR uniform. Very adjustable , no leather or holes to stretch or wear out.

I've got three wilderness belts (different colors). The one I wear most often is their titanium buckle w black webbing. The titanium is non ferrous so no taking it off when traveling or any other security point with metal detectors. The generous Velcro allows for adjustment for wether or not I carry that particular day.

Duluth double layer and filson

The Duluth double layer is a great belt and easily supports either an IWB or OWB holster providing great support. When I don't need the extra thickness to support the weight I go to a Filson single layer belt. Both last a long time and are worth the cost.

Prior to the Wilderness Tactical belt, for years I wore and Aker belt. It looks like a regular dress belt, but has a polymer insert. Another vote for Filson. I have a Filson belt that I've worn for years. I didn't treat it when I got it or for a few years after so it's looking a little cracked but it's still working fine. In fact I think I have three Filson belts but one is probably all you'll ever need.

These belts are incredibly durable. For the first month they'll feel like a cow based hoola hoop but once they conform to you, they are incredibly sturdy and durable.

While I realize this is not necessarily a gun thread, I daily carry a full size pistol and this thing has held it, and my pants, up, day in, day out, for over 10 years. It's a bit worn by now, but 100% functional. For when I dont carry, there is no difference in feel. Solid.

Discreet for every day use without tacti-cool, business casual to casual, this will do all you ask.

I have worn cobra buckle belts for years now. Wouldn't live without them. Hassle in airports though, I swap it for a dress belt and keep it in the bag only on airport days. Now have a Jones tactical. Nice belt but WOULD NEVER recommend getting one. His wait times are ridiculous. Believe he quoted me 4 weeks at the time.... and it shipped 7 months later, after weeks of having to harass him a bit just to get it done. TAG has always been a good retailer for me. I had a shellback full size buckled belt in black for ambulance work somewhere...

For traveling, I've got an old leather money belt from Patagonia that is perfect. It will hold a ton of cash, passport copies, etc. without ever getting bulky or uncomfortable or ever looking like a money belt. It's a shame that they don't make it any more, though mine is over 20 years old and has at least that many more years left in it. If you can find an old one on eBay or someplace, then grab it.

For every day, Narragansett in Maine. Custom length, width, color, buckle, hole spacing, etc., in multiple styles with great quality. They're a steal at around fifty bucks.
