what rims are these?

I believe factory 01-04 tacoma spare wheels that were powder coated white, 16x7? They do look cool though!

They could also be FJ Cruiser steelies painted white. I'm running that wheel, although in the stock black color.

BTW, glad to see I'm not the only one out there getting a little tired of alloy wheels. :ylsmoke:

They are 16"x7" Toyota OEM 05+ steel wheels.
not 01-04 wheels although not sure there is a different. But there might be an off set different from the 05+ and the previous gen.

I know for a fact they are 05+ spare steelie. cause I have the same on my 06 Tacoma. 16 hole wheels.
Powder coated white.

That is Peters truck from ACC Toyota.

1st Gen Tundra & Tacoma have the same steel 16-hole 16x7" spares, but the Tundras got those same wheels with hubcaps in full sets. 16x7" 16-Hole with same offset as stock Tacoma. FJ Cruisers have the same style, but in a 17" wheel, not sure of the hole count or offset. The "spare" wheels on the later Tacomas have one weird large oval hole in them near the valve stem (which is pretty cool looking IMHO), whereas the 1st Gen Tundra steel wheels that came in sets, and the earlier Tacoma/Tundra spares have 16 round uniform holes. Atleast that's what I've seen in my searching for the wheels I wound up with.

I have the 1st Gen 16x7" 16-Hole Tundra steel wheels that came in a complete set of 4 hidden behind plastic wheel covers on my Tacoma...

well i've already got 2. My spare and a buddies spare. One of the local dealers wants 130 a rim. I don't think i'll have to go that route.

So if anyone in Az / LA area has any of these laying around. Let me know.

I feel like I lucked out - I pieced together a set of 5 for 90 bucks. I see some of these sets going for, like, $300.

I don't know the offset but the hole count is 16. I counted mine when I walked out to my 4runner after leaving work yesterday.

Offset may or may not be the same as my stock 16x7 alloy wheels but if it's not the same, it's close enough to fit. I don't have any fit issues except for some rubbing on the forward edge of the front fender liner, but that problem was solved with a new bumper and a set of trimmers. ;)

EDITED TO ADD: Trying to buy 4 spare wheels might be difficult, if you can live with 17" instead of 16" wheels you can get the same look by getting some FJC steelies. Go onto an FJC board and find someone who owns an FJ and who upgraded, you can probably get them at a good price.

The steelies look darn good on this platform, IMO. Here's a few shots of mine with the stock front bumper:

...and with the new custom bumper:

I didn't do anything other than give the wheels and tires a bath. I washed them with a scrub brush and laundry detergent and installed them. No painting or anything, that's the OEM black sheen finish on the wheels, complete with scratches from the wheel covers and whatever else. Personally I don't care about scratches on my wheels or my truck for that matter so I didn't bother painting or anything.
