How much for that if you don't mind me asking?

One of my neighbors picked up a Syncrowave 250 used for not a lot of money.

I dunno, I have welded .030" aluminum with our Lincoln 375, and I just turned all the fancy controls to "off". I really didn't see any benefit. The only thing I'd like is pre-flow, but I can fake it with the pedal.

Very nice! Invest in a snakeskin for your lines and remember if any accessories break you can replace/fix most of it yourself.

Lol loaded question! From what I have learned so far 3/32 is not universal! I have a few sizes of red tungstens to start. My guess is 3/32 for awile till I'm ready to start practicing on thin aluminum and sheet.
the guy who is teaching me schooled me in some of that friday when he set me up to try some thin metal with lower voltage and the larger tungsten. Once he explained why things were crazy he did switch to the smaller tungsten and I got the stable arc back. It was still ugly lol. But the arc was stable

reason I asked is I have a whole card of 1/8 red, brand new. I have no use for it, and was gonna donate it to the cause....

Its kinda big, but if you are interested....

Sure I will definetly put it to use. And if for some reason I do not, I will pay it forward. My plan is to pick up some 11ga aluminum next monday to start running bead practice on aluminum to get my bench time up and work on developing a more consistant bead and build lugs. Also tobuild my skills with my rod hand. Let me know if you want me to p.p you some $ for shipping.
Thanks
